The History of the PG Tradin Post Back in the early days of Planet Garth just when the World Tour was starting up, we were presented with a problem that continues to this day. We receive countless email from people asking where they can get rare Garth items. Or perhaps they've missed or forgotten to tape a television appearance. Because of this, in 1996, the PG Tradin' Post was created. This "classified ad" system allowed anyone to post an ad looking to buy sell or trade anything related to Garth. During the World Tour (1996-1998), the Tradin' Post was one of the most popular sections on PG, due mostly because it was a place to find concert tickets at face value. Shorty after the World Tour ended, the Tradin' Post was temporarily closed due to the amount of maintainance it required. The idea was that the Tradin' Post would remain closed until we could build a new system that would run itself, and always be up-to date. We we're pleased to finally be able to create a system that addresses all these needs. The Tradin Post re-opened on July 5, 2001. After a "short" hiatus of two and a half years.
