How many worlds can Garth Brooks conquer? The country superstar is working out at spring training with baseball's San Diego Padres. Now his label, Capitol Nashville, confirms that Brooks' next album will be a pop-rock soundtrack. According to a label spokesman, Brooks' production company is involved with a movie called "The Lamb" and Brooks has cut a soundtrack album by that name as an "acting role on CD." Further, Brooks is considering starring in the film as the main character, Chris Gaines. The album, which, according to another Capitol source, is tentatively set for a May 4 release, will reportedly be issued under the pseudonym Chris Gaines, although it may be racked in stores under Brooks' name. The film is projected for release next year.
