As I said in the ISG tweet, that was MY tweet... so hopefully he can make it happen! Seriously so exciting!

For what it’s worth, “That’s What Cowboys Do” is now listed on Amazon with a release date of May 12th, but I can’t get the sample to play.

Also, my excitement over Garth’s comment that he was going to dump half of “Fun” on Amazon last night quickly deflated when I realized, hey, we *already* have almost half the new album. If the album is really 12-13 tracks, then half the album streaming would mean he’d only have to release one new song, if we’re taking his comment literally.

The way I interpreted it was we'd get the first half of the album....in sequence. But who knows, I just want to hear whatever new song or songs we get!!!!

Aaaaaaaand now “Party Gras (The Mardi Gras Song)” is also showing up on Amazon. Sounds like the release of both songs is imminent!

So are you seeing this on Amazon? All I see are the 5 songs that have been released for ages.

Search Garth under music and apply the “Release date” filter and you’ll see the two new songs.

They’re up! I’m listening to Party Gras right now. It’s super country. It reminds me of George Strait.

I agree. I just listened to them both twice and I’m really liking them. They’re making me nostalgic for that old country I grew up with. And when I place them in the context of the rest of the songs we have from FUN, I think I’m really really going to like this album. It’s got a great country feel to it so far and I’m ready for it.

YES!! I’ve been listening to a lot of King George lately, and both of these songs remind me sooo much of him and his style.

So awesome! My excitement for the rest of the album just went off the charts!!

‘That’s What Cowboy’s Do’ is SO traditional cowboy country. ‘Party Gras’ is just pure fun! Really great lyrics in there. ‘Party Gras’ is so specific, but I think it may work as a single? What do you all think?

I can see them, they just aren’t available for streaming or purchase. I only have Prime not Unlimited.

You can start a free three month trial of Unlimited—You just need to remember to cancel it before it renews automatically three months from now.

Thanks, but I’m assuming they will eventually be part of the $10 preorder I already paid for.

Thanks for the heads up! I was envisioning Party Gras as like a Weekend 2.0, this is not that! I need to hear it a few more times to see how I feel about it.

“That’s What Cowboys Do” is soooo good though, I definitely get Strait vibes from it, would've made a killer duet IMO.

If he had released Party Gras as a single back in february for Mardi Gras, it would have done well on the charts
