So you guys were talking about SCM's callout on Garth's Fun album, and while doing some surfing on that site, I caught Trigger talking about Rascal Flatts announcing their farewell tour and how he and myself are basically smelling a rat with this news.

And we smell a rat because history has pointed out to us that bands have announced farewell tours and would sometimes announce tours a few years after the fact. I could make a children's book length list on bands that had farewell tours. Now we got Kiss running a farewell tour and some friends of mine and myself are having this feeling that Kiss is just giving up regular touring just to become a Vegas act, same with Cher, Celine Dion, Reba and Brooks & Dunn.

The only acts I know that have done farewell tours and made them pretty much permanent are George Strait, Barbara Mandrell, and Kenny Rogers. You guys might know other singers that made them permanent, but those are the only ones I can think of.

Would love to hear y'alls thoughts on it.
