    Bob Kingsley dead at 80

    garth related in the connection to country radio..

    RIP Mr. Kingsley.. May God be with your family and friends during this time

    That dude was a rock star. I had listened to him since the 90s and had the privileged of having him read one of my letters requesting a song about Garth and why he meant so much to me.

    I guarantee you that Garth will bring Bob up on Inside Studio G this coming Monday. I personally didn't listen to him all that much, mostly because I think the rural areas I lived in didn't have American Country Countdown,but whenever he was on my family never really turned him off. But I know that my mother was more a Casey Kasem fan back in the day.

    Are you from south Mississippi? I don't think they have Miss 103 down that way. That's where I listened to him.

    Yeah but I've also lived in places around Missouri, Florida and Texas when I was a child and they weren't really big cities I lived at.
