Nashville Predators schedule just came out. Based on what it shows, I'd say most likely dates for Garth are 1st Three Weekends In October.

Cue the disappointed posts, but I think opening a new STADIUM is pretty frickin' cool. He must be planning a big Fall.

There is no way that was worth a G Alert, a stadium show in Atlanta, great for the people in Atlanta, a big stadium, so cool, but worth a special G alert announcement, studio g, yes!

Well some of you guessed right on a new venue announcement and apparently it's in Atlanta (again) for the new Mercedes-Benz stadium. I think I'm gonna attempt to make this one but I don't know.

Well, it's a pretty big deal to open a stadium like that. There will be 80,000+ there. It'd be cool if this was a TV special to go along with the Live Album release. But there was no mention of that.

    Sevens, you're prophetic!

opening a new stadium's kinda cool.. What I found interesting was... is that a new live recording of thunder rolls, or from the 25th DL, or the other DL?

lol- underwhelming to some I'm sure... Sevens, you made my afternoon w/ your comment.. still chuckling..

It was special because they asked him to announce it and he treated it special for them. Plus, that stadium looks freaking cool!

I'm just thrilled we actually got an announcement and it wasn't about a sales milestone. I think this is quite cool myself.

"Our open-roof stadium, stage set in the round and 5-story halo video board creates an unmatched experience for this world-renowned artist."

So the stage will be in the center?

Oct 12th, that's a Thursday, I wonder if they are planning on adding another show or two. I find it kinda weird it's not a weekend date. 80,000 tickets on a weeknight seems like a challenge... Which Garth can handle. Anybody find out the price? The article I read didn't mention that, just the on sale date of June 30th.

Really? What a joke. I'm sorry, but he is just not in touch with us fans anymore. So disappointed.

hmm- garth does like his big shows a live show/tv special would be nice but I have to wonder if his relevance tv special wise is behind him..

I think you can rule out a big tv special on a main network/cable station, maybe something like Amazon will stream it live, for their prime customers.

Ticket prices seems cheap they range from $50 to $250.

There are other concerts at the venue the first two weekends. I am increasingly concerned that I may not be able to be there.

Some big coverage for this announcement. Garth still keeps the headlines printing.

Not what most of us were expecting at all. Pretty cool for him and those who are able to go!

Plus, it's during the NFL season. So, I bet it gets brought up in a broadcast or two.

Where did you get the schedule? It's not on the bridgestone Arena's website.

I can't make it out. If it says @ BOS. Does that mean that they're playing elsewhere for example at Boston.

If it says VS PHI, does that mean they're playing in Nashville.

Or are they playing all those dates. Sorry for the stupid question, I don't follow American sport, and don't understand how it's all laid out.
