Inside Studio G- The inauguration question

You know? Garth was asked on Studio G tonight the inauguration.. IF he is to be taken at his word (and I don't have any reason NOT to...) its had to do with the Cincy shows, and the amount of shows, etc... if there were too many shows, they'd be out..

    he thanked/talked the Obamas

He offered a prayer for God holding Trump's hand in the decisions he makes for he country

And he then also mentioned 'it's an honor to serve'..

should be the end of the story on that issue eh? (probably not but it was nice to hear him talking about it openly)

Sure. He gave the PC answer, and one which will save him from being the subject of tweets.

If you want to believe his answer, then you have to wonder why he left Friday night the 20th open. And given that he's played 4 shows over 2 days many times during this tour, how would 1 Saturday & 1 Sunday show, too many shows for him to handle playing a couple of songs on Friday in D.C.?

Seriously, he could play in D.C., and be home in time for dinner, get a good night's sleep and plenty of time to get to Cincinnati for the Saturday night show. But I'm glad he's not doing that.

I did not see, Studio G, his inauguration sounds like it came from his PR office.

In another thread, someone asked if he was going to Scotland?, and he said not in the foreseeable future?

Was their any other questions ask about the world tour?

Im kinda guessing now the world tour is just going to be the USA and Canada?

Remember there will be a new intro to the show and I'm sure that involves alot, lights, stage positioning, timing that he and the band will want to practice once the arena is clear for the stage to be put up. I'm sure alot went into the decision of not playing, not just the politics.

People love drama, even where there is none....

Garth is probably a Democrat and probably has no desire to have his name mixed in with all of the other ridiculous stuff the media makes a big deal of over politics. And, his tour was scheduled first. Good for him!

I'm satisfied with his response. He refrained from politics and it seems most people prefer it that way.
