hello, i was wondering if the opry show for saturday night will be televised? if so which channel? probably not on any primetime channels like cbs or abc..

We dont know what or if the site will be more than it is. It could be that it is just referring to the box set coming. As was mentioned before he had something similar for Scarecrow. It wasn't a real fully functional website... just stuff about the CD.
You'll probably find out about the same time as the rest of us as to what will become of the site.

When Scarecrow came out it was on Capitol Records website, not his own server. before capitol had control of the domain all they ever had on the site was the Logo G (kinda like it is now).

Ummmmmmm.... dont you remember that not too long back that somehow they let their registration of the site slip and someone (non Garth related in any way) paid to own the site and was trying to run it?
I dont think that is the case this time. I'm pretty sure this person does represent Garth.. but it's not in Garth's name or in the name of anyone that is a part of GBM.

Ok....... I'm going to correct myself.
I just double checked to make sure the registration info hadn't changed again recently... and it was just recently updated on Sept. 30th and now it does show the registrant as Garth Brooks but NOT the GBM address... though it IS in Nashville... but the email contact information is still the other person that I was talking about before. It's a copyright attorney and I'm assuming it's probably the firm they used to get the garthbrooks.com address back from the person that was squatting on it that time.

It's easy to look up who has registered an internet address.... it's all available on the web.
Or do you mean how did I know about the squatter? That was common knowledge. Dont you remember when that happened?
