Snow's analogy with the waiter was spot on!
I think once a person achieves some sort of celebrity they owe that fan base a certain standard of behaviour; someone who is now 'famous' and can't be bothered with those who spent their hard earned dollars is someone I can't be bothered to follow anymore. I can think of several celebs who go out of their way to present a positive role model to the world at large (Garth and Jon BonJovi come to mind immediately). The fact that Garth seems to be so untouched and unaffected by the fame, and continues to treat fans in a kind and courteous manner speaks volumns for him and for his parents.
