    Lyrics to Beer Run?

Please. Could someone post the full lyrics to Beer Run for the benefit of us who haven't heard it? And could you note whether George or Garth are singing which lines? Thankyou.

Beer Run (B double E double Are You In?)
    Garth Brooks & George Jones
    Written by: Kent Blazy

    George
B double E double are you in?
    (LOOK OUT!)
    Garth:
    Twenty-five minutes passed quittin' time
Seven of us crammed into that truck o' mine
Paying no attention to the highway signs
Ninety mile an hour towards the county line
Oh, a six pack, twelve pack, back again
    It's a B double E double are you in?

    George:
My buddies and their babies lettin' down their hair
As long as we're together it don't matter where
Ain't got a lot of money but we just don't care
Knowing half the fun is in the gettin' there
Aztec, long necks, pay check, spend
Oh it's a B double E double are you in?

    George:
    Oh I can't stop thinking
What the hell they were drinkin'
When they made this county dry
    Garth:
I got a week long thirst
    And to make it worse
Lord, it's my turn to drive

    George:
Laughing and a bragging and a carryin' on
We're loading up the wagon and we're heading home
    Garth:
I guess a half a dozen cases doesn't last that long
Come tomorrow mornin' it'll be all gone
    Both:
Well it's turn around, leave town, sounds of a gun
    Garth:
Oh, like a B double E double are you in?
    George:
Hey, like a B double E double are you in?

    George:
Hey come on Garth, let's get in the truck!
    Garth:
    Okay, but I'm drivin'! *(giggles)*

Jason, thank you very much for taking the time to give us that. I appreciate it.

Wasn't there another version of this song posted here recently? With lyrics about phoney id's? Maybe Kent's own version?

    Words... you sure?

I think there are a couple points off in there... we need to work on this. I was trying to figure it out last night

I've put Garth in bold and George in italics... where it's both it's both.

    YaaaahEEEEE!
    Look out!

Twenty five minutes past quittin' time
Seven of us crammed into that truck a-mine

    It's a B double E double aRe yoU iN?

My buddies and their babies lettin' down their hair
As long as we're together it don't matter where

    (Yeah!)
Ain't got a lot of money but we just don't care
Knowin' half the fun is in the gettin' there

    Aztec, Longnecks, Paychecks spent...
Oh, it's a B Double E double aRe yoU iN?

Ooh, can't stop thinking what the hell they were drinkin'
When they made this county dry

I got a week long thirst and to make it worse...
Lord, it's my turn to drive!

Oh laughin' and a braggin' and a carryin' on
We loaded up the wagon and we're headed home

    (yeah!)
I guess half a dozen cases doesn't last that long
Come tomorrow mornin' it'll be all gone

Yeah let's turn around, leave town (something?) (I don't think it's what you said)
Like a B double E double aRe yoU iN?

Hey, like a B double E double aRe yoU iN?

    Hey!

Hey, come on Garth, lets get in the truck!

    *giggling* Ok, but I'm drivin'!

    -------
It can't be "sounds of a gun... like a B double E double are you in" that doesn't make sense. so what's like a Beer Run?
    And why Aztec?

    Anybody else to add??

    Thanks for the lyrics...
I haven't heard the song yet...but It does seem like they
had some fun making that song.

I can understand why Garth didn't release it to radio for his first single though...with the past events that occured.
The song "Wrapped Up In You" will comfort many at this time instead.

I have to agree with Hazel and Sharon. I hear the following lines as opposed to what Jason posted:

Oh quick sack, twelve pack, back again

(Quick Sack is the name of a convenience store in the midwest.)

Well its turn around leave town sounds again

(sounds of a gun doesn't make much sense)
