GARTH TRIBUTE ALBUM CONTEST CLOSES TOMORROW
August 31st, is the final entry date for the In The Beginning: A Songwriter's Tribute To Garth Brooks songwriting contest. Already over 650 aspiring tunesmiths have sent in songs to be judged by a panel of music industry veterans, who will choose the top ten finalists. Several of the writers featured on the ITB album will choose the grand prize winner from those top ten finalists.
The grand prize winner of the contest will: Receive a three-day/two-night trip for two to Nashville (including roundtrip airfare from within the continental United States or Canada only, hotel accommodations, and ground transportation) in October (exact date to be announced soon).
Entrants can enter only one song (if more than one song is entered, the entrant will be disqualified). It must be original, and the entrant must be the writer or co-writer of the song and the copyright owner.
