On April 10, watch for the release of IN THE BEGINNING: A SONGWRITER'S TRIBUTE TO GARTH BROOKS. The 16 track CD features the songwriter's original arrangements of songs that Garth has recorded and some of which he co-wrote. They include: "The Thunder Rolls," "The River," "Unanswered Prayers," "If Tomorrow Never Comes," "Rodeo," "We Shall Be Free," "Papa Loved Mama" and "Friends In Low Places."

That CD should be a great collection of songs-- I happen to have the Pat Alger CD named -SEEDS- and recommend it to everyone. You can really appreciate the reason Garth has recorded Mr. Alger's lyrics.

    HI!
For anyone interested, the Pat Alger CD -SEEDS- is available online. Just go to sugarhillrecords.com!! Sorry, don't know who to make a link :) He also has another CD listed and I'm sure it's worth a listen. As for songs Garth has recorded that were written by Mr. Alger- the ones I'm familiar with are "The Thunder Rolls and Unanswered Prayers." Pat Alger makes an appearance on Garth's Video- "This is Garth Brooks"
