<br>This is Patty Loveless’ first new studio album in three years. It starts in driving style, with clever words and back up vocals that give that feeling of the blasé very well. ‘My Heart Will Never Break This Way Again’ is a lovely ballad, with back up vocals from Trisha Yearwood and Claire Lynch. I like the nonchalant ‘You Don’t Get No More’ - a very good dance number. ‘That’s The Kind Of Mood I’m In’ was her U.S. hit, another good driving song. ‘Thirsty’ is another lovely ballad, with effective floating instrumental sounds as an intro, leading into gentle guitar backing, Patty is joined here by Travis Tritt. Overall a nice mix of sounds and stories, a good album produced by Patty’s husband, Emory Gordy. For those who don’t already know Patty is a younger cousin of Loretta Lynn and Crystal Gayle. Good vocals clearly run in the family!
