<br>LISBON, Portugal (AP) - Elton John walked out on a sold-out concert just 30 minutes before it was supposed to start, organizers said.
<br>
<br>The singer appeared worried that the theater at the Estoril Casino near Lisbon was half-empty, casino spokesman Nuno Lima de Carvalho said.
<br>
<br>``He said he was going out to get some air, but then he jumped into his car and went to the airport to catch his private jet. He never said goodbye or anything to anyone,'' Lima de Carvalho said.
<br>
<br>De Carvalho said the audience of 1,250 people, including government ministers and bank presidents, was slow to move from the dining room Wednesday night.
<br>
<br>The casino is considering legal action, he said. Tickets for the show cost more than $200.
<br>
<br>Paul Carey, a London spokesman for the singer, said he was unaware of the incident and had no comment.
<br>
