My sister's friend just gave me a softcover book called "The Garth Brooks Scrapbook". I've never seen this book before. I started reading it and it has alot of interesting pictures and facts about Garth. Like, not to long ago there was a discussion on here about Garth and blue rose. How are they connected. Well, it seems that the first song Garth ever wrote was called "Blue Rose". I never knew that or even heard that. I'm curious to see if anyone else has this book?

Tell me the name of the editor or author. I will check it out when I go to Barnes and Noble. I am always looking for books about Garth. :)N

I found it on the Barnes & Noble website. But it's out of print. It was done by Lee Randall. But there are 7 copies in the Rare, Secondhand, & Out of Print section. The prices range from $14.70 to $25.60.

I thought that MTYTFTDO was his first song. I never knew that Blue Rose was the first. Now..... was it named that after the connection or is the connection because of the song?

Its a great book. I've had it since 1993. It was printed I think in 1992. :) There is one picture that I absolutely love, its Garth looking at the camera, and the sub title says:" World's sexiest man?" My answer.. Damn right! :)

This was the first Garth book I got. My mom gave it to me for Christmas in '92. I had it read by the end of the day! It does have some great stories, and some REALLY great pictures!

The way I understood it. "Blue Rose" was the first song he ever wrote. I guess when he was young or at least younger. Before he got his start in Nashville. I'll have to go check the book again and make sure.
