John Denver Behind the Music

As I was watching the show last Sunday on JD, I was really struck by some similarities to Garth in terms of treatment by the music industry. Even at the height of his popularity in terms of sell out concerts and record sales, he also was not respected by music industry people. As he matured, his music really became more powerful, but by that time he was "OUT" and there was no getting back in. I even remember watching one music awards show, that was not too long after his death and they didn't even show his picture among "those who will be missed"! <p>Just another example of politics in the music industry, I guess! They still think the fans opinions don't count for as much as their own.<p>Anyone else see that Behind the Music? Any opinions? <p>Far Out!! <br>N

I didn't see the Behind the Music show but I always Loved John Denver.His music was cool.I don't know if you ever got to see these but at Christmas time he used to have Christmas specials and they were really fun.He would sing and tell stories .And he would always be in Colorado or somewhere that had a lot of snow.He would sing while taking sleigh rides.It was wonderful.It always put me in the holiday mood.I hope that they will replay them this holiday season.In my opinion John will always be remembered in my heart and in my Holiday Spirit. :)N
