I respect a lot of his choices, even if I might make different picks myself.

I always liked the hook and rhymes used for "Wild Horses."

I think he got "I Don't Have to Wonder" a little wrong...I think it's a wedding, not a funeral, with the singer's old love marrying someone else but inviting him.

That is what I don't have to wonder is about, a wedding, there's a video out there for it he helped direct, I love both song and video!

I must be a weird fan because I tend to like most of his Album cuts a lot more than his singles, even though the radio ones are good in their own right, I always thought his album cuts were better.

1. For a Minute There (2005 a year in my life where it was just nothing but death and heartbreak and this song could not come at a better time)
2. Every Now and Then (I compare this song to a beautiful water-color painting everything about it was just perfect)
3. Same Old Story (I just usually like it because I visualize a music video out of this)
4. When There's No One Around (Mostly because I'm an introvert)
5. Burning Bridges (I know how the character feels in this song and how hurt I might get over losing people because of my tendency to not really accept more friends)
6. Face to Face (Symbolizes everything I've either been through or witnessed other people doing and basically helped solidify my stance against people who think rape and bullying are cool)
7. The Night Will Only Know (Stephen King eat your heart out)
8. Rodeo or Mexico (Always thought that song was pretty funny)
9. Cowgirl's Saddle (What Western Swing record was he listening to when he made that song)
10. Wolves (Like 'Every Now and Then' this is just one of those that was well crafted)

I'm a brand new member to the forum, been reading since Garth came out of retirement. I really like seeing the insight you guys give on various Garth related topics. Thought this would be a good post for me to start out on since, in some cases, I appreciate the album cuts a little more than the radio singles.

These are my favorite album cuts:

-Every Now and Then
-A Friend to Me
-How You Ever Gonna Know
-I Don't Have to Wonder
-Cold Shoulder
-Why Ain't I Running
-Mr. Midnight
