Garth got an award from ASCAP last night and debuted a new song not featured on Man Against Machine. Apparently it's called "I Am A Song."

Cool we heard a snippet. From his introduction, I am not sure he's going to record it. But it was cool to hear. Who knows, maybe it will end up on the 2015 album.

What did he say in his introduction?

What did he say in his introduction?

"And now for the stupidest thing I've ever done." It just made it seem like he wasn't too big on the song is all.

I took it as he thought it was stupid to debut a new song that he likely hadn't rehearsed and probably very recently wrote, but still felt was appropriate for the moment. I took it as typical Garth self deprication, charm, and humor.

If he wasn't big on the song, I doubt he'd have tried to sing it in front of a bunch of songwriters.

Trisha's performance of If Tomorrow Never Comes is haunting at the 1:00 mark.

Would be a real waste if this song doesn't end up on Garth's 2015 album.
