The website "The taste of country" has reported when Garth comes out of retirement its going to be
a duet album and a duet tour with Trisha.

Im kinda disappointed with this, no disrespect to Trisha, but I havent waited 13 years, I havent sat thru
Garth saying, "when my youngest leaves to go to college, I will fire things up again" For Garth to just
release a duet album and do a duet tour.

People have waited for a Garth album and a Garth tour. Its his career he can do what he likes, but
during his whole retirement, he has been saying 2014 is the year, hes been giving this teaser to the
public, year after year after in interviews, only for ten months out, to say its going to be duets, is
a tad disappointing.

With duet albums you really cant do anything that special, they're mostly ballads, and even the fast pace songs
are love songs.

Trisha fans will love it, but after 14 years I want something special.

I know Trisha has been recording a solo project and frankly I wouldn't be shocked if Garth isn't as well. I could see them tour with her opening in support of her cd, a duet portion and then G-man tearing it up as a closer. I love them both, and I've seen her in concert. I don't care how I get to see Garth so long as I can get tickets. He sold out so fast when he was here last time I missed out.

I really disagree about not getting anything special out of a duets album...I think it will be awesome to have a solo album and a duets album too!!

I mean thinking about the great duet albums from Conway and Loretta, George and Tammy, Dolly and Kenny....etc etc etc...............HURRY UP NEXT YEAR AND GET HERE!!!!
