Did the "Mo" Betta Clothing Company go out of business? I tried to find their website to order some shirts, but I couldn't find it. mobetta.net doesn't take you there anymore. It's been three or so years since i've ordered from them. I sure hope they didn't go out of business.

Maury Tate retired and closed the company two years ago.

:( That's sad. I guess that means no more custom made "mo" betta shirts.

That stinks. They provided my hero with the coolest shirts. My favorites included the yellow and black shirt he wore for TIGB2, the shirt he wore when he sing Beer Run with the Possum on the CMAs eleven years ago, the American flag shirt he wore in Atlanta for the kick-off of his 1996-98 tour, and the red-and-black lighting bolt shirt from the 97ACM Awards.

much as I loved some of the shirt patterns- looking back some 13-15 years, when they were "used"... makes me say "yikes-" would Garth still wear em?

Scott, I would, if I were him.

I can't say I would- he's been out of the game so long he'll have to work at reinventing himself some anyway- going 'back to the past' might not work so well, though going forward to the future is a possibility..

I say keep the signature hats, mute the colors some- kinda like how aging rockers seem to all cut their long hair- garth needs to 'evolve' some in his look- stage performance? if he can still do that, he needs to keep that up- that's a 'signature look' he can't lose- the outfits? those can be adjusted

I took a look at it, and agree, that what they have to offer isn't my taste. However, they just opened back up, so I would suspect more is to come. I would almost bet they'll bring back all the "sevens" collection of shirts. That was probably their biggest sellers due to the fact Garth once wore them.
I also noticed that the shirts still sat "handmade." They use to be real good about custom making any shirt you wanted. I would imagine they would still do the same and would probably make you any shirt from their past collection.

If anyone could help me, I'd hope it'd be y'all, so I have a question concerning these shirts, and one in particular. Is it now or has it ever been possible to get a replica of the shirt from the TIGB2 special?? I've been after this shirt for twenty years and never found it.

you might try the website http://mobettaclothing.com

but it does appear to be 'down'.. it's soliciting mailing addresses- maybe you can get a message to them?

Yes it was possible - I have one in my closet, only I chose the white and blue combination. Unfortunately, the store currently has the "will be down for a bit" message up again; back in 2014 when they opened up again I managed to order one of the old designs again, so when they do open up again I would suggest you send them a picture of the shirt you want and they will most likely be able to make it for you

Hey, y'all! So... not exactly Mo' Betta related, but it seemed to make more sense than starting a new thread, does anyone know the exact specification of the Stetson that Garth wears??
