To those fans who get to go to a Royals game, or maybe watch it on TV, Garth is making a bigger-than-life (105 feet) appearance at the home games somewhere around the 6th inning - http://royalsblog.kansascity.com/?q=node/77/

Call me crazy, whenever I hear about this team, I always wanna call them the Kansas City Troyals. Has a nice ring to it, huh? :D

Thanks, Paula. That is so cool for KC fans. Did you notice that the lyrics link he put on is to PG?

Maybe Garth will be a good luck charm for them.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=OwgpcqyjnKc Looks like fan shots during the song, maybe a Garth intro to start, videographer apologizes for starting late. The fans looks to be getting into the song pretty quickly.

As an interesting note, Neil Diamond doing "Sweet Caroline" during the Red Sox home games has been a hit since it started in 97, and during yesterday's home opener the Sox played a video of Neil singing from his new stage during rehearsals for his upcoming tour, and he announced a concert stop at Fenway as part of his opening tour leg here in the states. Could set a precedence, you know?

It really is a great song for the start of a sporting event. That's a heck of a screen.
