Oh good grief! I have RFD at home in the cornfields of Illinois but I just left to come back to Massachusetts. FIGURES! Hope someone catches all these and gives us details!

Crook & Chase was hands down the best Country Talk Show and they are sorely missed. So cool that Garth is doing this although I am not surprised at all. :)

If you have DirecTV (like I do), it's channel 379. I'll be sure to have the DVD recorder fired up.

Anybody know when this is being taped? I live here in Nashville and might be able to go (if it hasn't already taped). Also, does anybody know how to get tickets to the Crook and Chase show?

The weekly one hour show will be produced by Jim Owens Entertainment and taped in front of a studio audience on Wednesdays at Nashville's Opry House in Studio A.I couldn't find anything confirming whether this show has already been taped or will be taped next Wednesday, but my guess is it has already been taped.

For those of you who will be getting this show, don't forget to tune in tonight for their retrospective, which will have an early interview clip with Garth, among others.

I miss Crook & Chase (and the old TNN station) and wish my cable company carried RFD-TV.

I just had a thought. Since Garth is going to be in town anyway, if his portion is in fact being taped next Thursday, I wonder if he'll stick around for his buddy Charlie Daniels' induction in the Opry that weekend. Even better, I wonder if he'll be a surprise performer.

dont know if n e of yall have this info or not.

previous calls to the provided #'s have been aggravating and with no luck but things are straightened out as of today.

u do NOT have to purchase a "package deal" to get tix.

call 1-888-677-9256 and if ur operator aint gotta clue...bless their hearts ;-) tell them they will have to look for a promo code in their system.

it should pull up the info then for the tixs and taping info.

tix are basically "free" and you are only charged a handling fee of $4.00 per ticket and there is a 4 tix limit.

good luck and hope to see some of yall there!

Teresa

(who will swear til the day she dies....she really is clueless...dont know a thang...notta bout nuttin...so don't be askin me how i know this cause i know someone will ask and as always....i aint tellin)

I wasn't able to get tickets to the Crook and Chase taping. If anyone has an extra, let me know and I will pay the $4.00 for it. Also, I was wondering if anyone is going to attempt to wait out back behind the Opry to see if we might get lucky and see him. Didn't they block the road behind the Opry off even to foot traffic? It has been several years since I've been back there. Anyone with good info let me know. Maybe I will see you there.

Since I'm at work and I can't check on my TV -- I looked on the TV Guide web site which says for DISH Network C & C will be on ch. 231 or 9409 -- I'm hoping that one of those will work and I can catch the show tonight!

Saw the show tonight! Crook and Chase talked for a few minutes and brought Garth right out to sing "More Than A Memory"

It was great of course.

Then they sat with him and talked awhile about a ton of stuff. Very fun to watch.

Not a lot of news there. Mostly chatted about Garth's new domestic life, i.e. how to put on a pillow case and the challenge of trying to fold a fitted sheet. I did have to giggle when he called himself "Gartha Stewart" :-D Then they let Garth introduce George Jones after talking about what a fan he was and how George thought GB was stuck up for ducking him a few times ( out of nerves). Briefly mentioned the LA shows, but no news there either. He only hung around for about the first fifteen minutes of the show. Had to fly back to OK cuz of the young'uns.
