I need a song to dance to with my mom at my reception for my upcoming wedding. I would like a song by GB since he is the man, but I am open to any suggestions. Any ideas out there?

Knowing more about your relationship with your mom might help... some might like something funny... and others something serious...

If you're particularly close to your mom and feel like she's your best friend, then the song You've always been a friend to me might be a good choice...

Well you and I
We're buddies
And we've been since we first met
Me and you
Well we've sure been through
Our share of laughter and regret

Lord knows we've had our bad days
And more than once we've disagreed
But you've always been a friend to me

You can be so stubborn
There's times I think you just like to fight
And I hope and pray
I live to see a day
When you say I might be right

And there's times I'd rather kill you
Than listen to your honesty
But you've always been a friend to me

You've always been
Time and again
The one to take my hand
And show me it's okay to be
Just the way I am
With no apology

Oh you've always been
And you will 'til God knows when
Yes you've always been a friend to me

Either one of those would be fabulous in my opinion!

"It Was Your Song" is my choice. I love, love, love that song. My son does alot of karaoke and one night when we went to hear him perform, he sang this to me. I had tears streaming down my face the whole time.
