...In July, he and his wife will participate in a "Teammates for Kids" charity event hosted by country music singer Garth Brooks in Las Vegas.

I'm guessing its his annual get together for all the Teammates Sponsers. he usally plays a concert for them and mingles. Very cool

I thought so too, but isn't that usually (like I would know.. lol) in the winter? Like Jan/Feb? Why does that ring a bell?? Either way, it was fun to see this!

Unless things have changed since I last visited with the GREAT people at Teammates, they actually do the concert/dinner/thank you bash twice a year in Vegas at the Venetian Hotel. If I remember it is usually in January sometime, so that is probably why it rings a bell Sandi and then again in the summer.
Teammates is such a wonderful organization and Garth really has some great people working at that place, he can be proud that it bears his name!
