Alright, this is a call to all of you with any "connections". I was at the final concert in South Padre, and thigns like, The River, and To Make You Feel My Love in person...............almost spiritual, the emotion just doesn't seem to get recorder even on live albums. And it's that feeling, and that excitement that I berlive can help bring so much funding to the Child Abuse Prevention Fund here. Now I've got connections with the radio station here that helps out with the annual summer concert series, it's a free concert, but I always go broke. Last year I think we raised about 350 THOUSANd dollars. yes it sounds liek a lot, but........ it turns out to be about 6 dollars per child,. per each 44,000 angels abused in the state.

Please, anyone who's touched by the cause, it means SO much to me personally, the cause, not garth, well........ heh. If anyone could get me in contact with people that can help make this happen. Or ask them yourselves.....

And please, could someone email me the address for his agent I think. or any address that would be most likely to get to someone. PLEASE, this isnt' for me, although I would get a kick out of meeting Mr Brooks ....................

Please..... for the kids. Don't let them go through what I did.

What are you looking to make happen? A donation or a performance?

i want to convince him to come here, I knew someone who's dad was freinds with him, but.. i didn't want to exploit the relationship and i've also lost touch with them, but it would bring in SO much money for the kids, no one should ever have to go through what I did

I hope what you're trying to achieve goes well for you. Have you tried informing Touch Em All Foundation about this charity? They have funding applications there. Just a thought. I know that wouldn't exactly get Garth to a performance in your hometown. Maybe one day we'll see him do such a benefit concert.

I wish you the best!

his foundation has given money before..... but, I mean, if 200 thousand people turned up to see him fr free in south padre......... if those people would donate just a dollar, that would already be more than half off what was raised last year. imagine if they each donated 5 dollars.
