I know that most of you guys own all of the Garth television specials but there is one in particular that was done by an Oklahoma City news station that you probably don'g have and haven't seen if you don't live in Oklahoma. So if any of you would like a copy of it, just let me know and I would be glad to send you a copy. I'm going back through all of my tapes to see what else I have that I have forgotten about. This particular one has many, many things on it, but my favorite is all of the personal comment Garth made about the OKC bombing. If you don't have it, you definitely want to see it. It's an emotional one and I really love it. It's locally produced but they did a good job on it.

Oh, and they also interview Mama Brooks. She was such a precious, sweetheart of a lady. IT's hard for me to watch the segment with her in it without crying just because I can't believe that someone so special and so full of life, is no longer amongst us.

Hey guys. I am in the process of going through all of my Garth tapes this weekend. Most are in great shape, but a few are showing a lot of wear and they need to be transferred by a professional who can straighten them out a little. None of the big dog videos are damaged. The ones that are showing wear are the ones that have news coverage, etc. of various Garth events. Here is an incomplete list of that which I have come across so far. I am willing to make copies for any of you, but because there are so many, I admit that I am already getting a little confused. So if together we could come up with a way to organize the requests so I can keep them straight, that would be great. And the only "payment" required is just the cost of the tape and shipping. I wish I could even do that part for free but depending upon the amount of tapes, it might get pretty costly and I'm not teaching this year. Please know that there are several TNN Country News segments that cannot be transferred until I take it to a professional to be repaired which I hope to do soon. But I am happy to share anything that I have that is working properly. Here's the list so far. I'm still going through tapes.

I definately want the locally produced Oklahoma City tape in which Garth speaks of the OKC tragedy. I know I have never seen it and being (a) a journalist and (b) emotionally tied to that in a bizzare way I would really love to see it. My email address is wendi5000@myrealbox.com which is also listed in my profile, and my private messenger is also active so please contact me whichever way you wish and let me know what you need. I'll gladly pay for the cost of the tape & shipping, as I know that can get expensive and what you are offering is awesome! Also please let me know what method of payment you prefer (money order, personal check, paypal, etc.). :)

O.k. if you are one of the ones who wants the Channel 9 OKC special, then please email me and put "CHANNEL 9 SPECIAL" in the subject line.

Then, I will write you back to tell you my mailing information. The only thing I need from you is the cost of a basic tape (or you can send me your own) and postage. If I buy the tape and pay for the postage, it still shouldn't cost more than maybe $6.00 or so. I can't imagine it being much more than that. If you want to find out the postage rate for where you live, that is fine with me. I am not interested in making a single penny profit. I just want to make sure that the cost is covered.

I'll get them out to you as soon as is possible.
