Check out one of my duo's for the fair at soundclick! This is so cool, with 6 full songs, lyrics, pics, and stories. Please check them out!

CummingWest is an acoustic music duo specializing in vocal harmonies. Jonathan and Tara met standing in line at the Nashville Star singing contest November 23, 2002 and fell in love at first sight. They had their first date January 4th, got engaged February 8th and married March 1st 2003. They joined together in marriage and in voice.

"I often get goose bumps listing to CummingWest sing and sometimes I am moved to tears. They are wonderful." (Avid fan)

Why this name?
Jonathan Cummings and his wife Tara West joined together as CummingWest. Those are their real names.

Favorite spot?
In paradise, right where we are, in Stuart, FL!

I had a very enjoyable evening with Jonathan and Tara tonight. They are just as busy as I am getting ready for the fair. They set up a morning slot on local radio(on Feb. 7, you-know-who's birthday) to promote not only themselves for the fair on Feb. 19, but they took it upon themselves to contact Poobah, who is letting them play his new unreleashed song on radio. I really think they and he are the perfect match for our Thur. night of the fair. Plus they just won numorous awards at some huge gathering last week, winning best duo. They have been nothing but pure enjoyment and encouragement to me. Everything seems to be falling into place according to God's plan. And maybe, here's the omen: as I was being seated at a table next the music setup, what song should come from the soundsystem but, "Ain't Going Down Till the Sun Comes Up." You're damn right!!!

And guess what! They found this thread I got going on them here at PG! I'm hoping to get them back here to personally thank you for your support. They have voiced to me on numerous times how much they really appreciate it.

Well, "Let Yourself Go! at the 45th annual Martin County Fair" opens in just three weeks! Wish us luck! In the meantime, I plan on enjoying Ty's two shows at the Manatee County Fair on Jan. 31st as a well-earned birthday present to myself.

I just have to brag about how well these two are doing! Plus, they took it on themselves to go on live radio this coming Sat. to promote not just CummingWest to the fair but Poobah(Don Mealer) from Nashville, who they will be opening for. I'm floored by their hard work with others.

I also found out that after Kaileen Butler kicks off our fair, she will be under Nashville management. Dang! This is a fun "job"!!

Here's CummingWest's latest achievements! Quite impressive!

I just watched the entire new interactive cdrom Jonathan and Tara gave me which includes some video from our fair! It's like being there again! Right now they are busy recording their new cd, and doing radio jingles like these:

There is no doubt in my mind these two have what it takes to get very far in the music business. You'll be hearing of them.

And next time you see Don Carr from the Oakridge Boys tell him you heard all about his old friend Jonathan Cummings from Dale at PG. :)
