This intimate interview with Faith Hill at the Bluebird Cafe premiers on Sunday the 13th at 9pm. Here's part of a two page excerpt at E!online.

On her big break at the Bluebird:

It was like any other night performing. I sang background with [songwriter] Gary Burr, and he just had a show just like any other time. But this particular night, a woman by the name of Martha Sharp from Warner Bros. Records was in the audience, and that was it! That's the way it all started...She approached me that night and asked if I had a tape or something to give her, if I wanted to pursue a career as a solo artist.

I never knew Faith had her start at the Bluebird like Garth! I wonder who else? And who is Gary Burr?

Gary Burr is a successful songwriter. I didn't know Faith had gotten her start at the Bluebird either. I just know of her working for Reba and... someone else. Gary Morris? She's not a songwriter, but her singing backup there makes sense. Did you know she auditioned to be one of Reba's backup singers, and didn't make it? The girl who beat her out died on the plane crash that took Reba's band. :(
