Anybody going to be there to get pictures? I know a major league pitcher. I graduated with his brother, he is the pitcher for the Minnesota Twinns. I know he and his wife are going.

BTW: Does anyone have the "Touch em All" credit card??

I just applied for one and was denied.. I cant believe it. I have never been turned down for a credit card before. Are their some special requirements??

I have the card and was originally denied because I already had an MBNA credit card, but then was able to get one.

LOL PJ, the same thing happened to me with MBNA, I was denied for a Predators card, because we already had a KC Chiefs one. :rolleyes: not MY idea there... I was like, hello, I work for the team!!

Did you cancel your other MBNA card, or did you talk them into letting you have 2?

We changed the application to be in hubby's name with me as a co-card holder. I had asked if I could make my current MBNA card to become a TEA instead of the current affliation (I have done this in the past without problem) but was told no this time.

I applied for mine right when I turned 18 and didn't have any problems getting one, much to my suprise. And now my limit (3 yrs later) is ridiculously high. My brother just applied for a MBNA card a few months ago (he's 18) and he got denied. I have no idea how they determine who gets one and who doesn't.

For anyone who is denied, you have the right to ask for a reason for denial in writing. Usually, it's based on your credit history, but for someone who is 18, you don't usually have much of a history yet so they consider current income.
