A Belated Birthday Present

Hi yall!!

I'm still speechless...

Last night I went to dinner with some friends. It was a belated birthday celebration. Even though we live in New York City we are scattered hither and yon. (did I really say that?)

Any way.... they each brought me a present as well as paying for my dinner.

Sue bought me some flowers and a "Believe" book mark.

From Wendy a Christmas stocking with a needle point looking Lighthouse on the front.

Now for the speechless part... I know you all have been wondering why I'm posting about a belated birthday present..

Well... My sistah of the heart Harriet gave me the TEAMMATES T-SHIRT that she bid on and got at the Convention in August!!!!!

I am flabbergasted!!! That's the only word that comes to mind. I remember sitting there when she started bidding and I said to myself.... I want that shirt but how can I bid against my sistah and room mate!!! She really wants that shirt. LOL

Not only do I have the shirt but (thanks to Mary Liz) it's signed by all the people at the Teammates office!!!

So I'm in 7th heaven walking on cloud 7.

Thank you my sistah!!!

(I know she is gonna kill me for this post but I just had to share with yall.)

Can we share a little secret here? SOME people... have known since the day of the auction what your little Garth Angel Harriet had in store for that t-shirt! ;) Don't ever say PGers can't keep a secret!

In fact, a few days ago, Moni and I were wondering if you'd gotten it yet. I'd talked to Harriet when she got it back, but we hadn't heard if it had been delivered. You are one lucky NUTT to have a buddy that would give you such an awesome gift!

I will NEVER say that PGer's can't keep a secret!! 'Tis true, Jo, there was a plan from the git-go, lol...and the sistahs kept the secret!! YA YA!! GO SISTAHS!! A special thanks to ML for accomplishing part 2 of the plan..I had her so worried about getting it back here in time for your birthday and then it ended up that I didn't see you till 2 weeks after anyway! Sorry, ML, for putting the pressure on..I had no clue we'd have 2 extra weeks, and you got it here before her actual b-day! YOU ROCK!!

I was just so blown away!!!

Problem is I don't know if I can wear the T-shirt!!!
LOL I want to frame it and keep it new!!

Hi All, I'm very close to getting the picture of me in the T-Shirt!!!

Harriet and Wendy are coming over tonight to see my Grandson and IF Harriet doesn't forget to bring the picture I will post it ASAP!!!:)

Sorry it took so long but Harriet had the pictures in her camera and had to finish up the roll. I can't wait to see it. She said that it came really nice!!!:)
