Montgomery Gentry and Scarecrow

Saturday night when some guy singing about a tractor was performing in a sold out, record breaking show here in Raleigh there was a duo who opened for him. Troy Genty and some other guy named Eddie was there. Let me tell you Ladies, Troy was mighty fine. Anyway back on track here they have a new single coming out soon called "Scarecrow" its a excellent song, loved that song, and the best part is Troy performs most of it, so Eddie can be free to twirl his microphone stand!

Oh and did I mention Troy looked mighty fine with his blue jeans and blue jean shirt!!!!!!!!!! OH my and that man is just fine anyway. Those arms and everything makes for one heck of a hug. You can tell he works out quite a bit!!

Oh anyway I will shut up now. And yes Kenny did a fabulous Job, I was very proud of him and very happy for him. He was overwhelmed and couldn't sing a few times because of the crowd. He forgot the words in the first song when he first seen everyone and it took a minute for him to finish it. Then he broke down crying in another song and just said "Have I told you guys I Love You", then he asked if he could have a minute to take all this in.

Oh and the crowd sang so loud to the songs and cheered to one of them to the point he stopped and said "do you mind if I finish this one?" He was great and as always as sweet as he can, just ask the woman he got down on his knees and sang "Lay me down and Love me" to!


Oh and I better mention Phil Vassar did a great job. And Jamie O'neal well she was there also.

Hey guys this is Shelley, AKA GottaB-GB I am at Terry's this for a bit for a vacation. I have to say the "Scarecrow" song was very kewl. Terry forgot to tell ya how we SCREAMED when Kenny sang Big Star when he said Garth's name in that line!! Yep I think Troy looked mighty fine and so did Kenny. I never realized how sexy Troy or Kenny were till I saw them up close and personal. Those arms are made for hugging.


I loved how the crowd sang every word of every song...it reminded me of South Padre Island.....cept it wasn't so COLD or WET....and we didn't stand there for HOURS............lol
MAN I love vacationing with Garthnutts!

this was just the beginging of the trip......I'm gonna need a vacation from my vacation!!

I really love Kenny Chesney! I can just imagine how that lady felt with him singing to her on his knees! What a lucky gal!

The show was in Raleigh NC. It was awesome. Dale Earnhardt Jr. even made a surprise appearence to help Kenny sing She thinks my tractors Sexy. Very Very Kewl Show.

Kenny is really getting out there. Even tho I must say the highlight for me was Troy. That man is just plain sexy. He pulled his shirt up and stuck his hand on his stomach and swirled his hips around and I thought I was going to fall over. Did I mention he is muscle from head to toe his arms were solid.


Oh anyway back to Kenny after all it was his show. Yes he is awesome and I thought that lady would pull him off the stage when he pointed to his cheek for her to kiss him. And I thought Shell was going to hit the ground.

He was only scheduled to play for 75 minutes and he laughed and said "I think I'll be here a little longer if its alright with yall"

Didn't I tell you he was a hottie? Right before I read this thread I got a call from one of their crew - the guys are up in Lexington shooting a video for Scarecrow today. Some place called Triangle Park near the arena. They were supposed to do it yesterday but got rained out.

Was this your first time seeing MG in concert Terry?

MG is in Triangle Park in Lexington, Kentucky I seen it earlier on countrynation. We looked up on map quest how long it would take me to get there but We couldn't make it. LOL

Oh back to Troy, yea you said he was hot, you didn't say heat stroke hot. I seen them at fan fair a few years ago but Troy still had long hair and I really didn't pay much attention. Then the next year there was this huge crowd of people waiting (this was at the raceway the last year it was there) and I was like who is everyone waiting for and next thing I know this door knocked me in the back of the head knocked my camera out of my hand and I was trying to find my camera and I was crouched down trying to pick up the pieces when Troy bent down and was apologizing. It was the first time I seen him with his hair cut. I was speechless and he was really nice to me. I just couldn't figure out what he was apologizing for. LOL

Anyway this is the first time I seen him actually perform like he did. UNFREAKINBELIEVABLE. Oh my God they sang this song called Hell Yeah! OH GOSH I THOUGHT DIE I WOULD. That man can dance!!

He may have done more I will have to ask Shelley. To be honest I Love Kenny to death the sweetest guy on earth and I am very happy for him with all the success hes getting but to be Frank the only thing on my mind was looking for Troy. He sent my head spinning.

But now Shelley can fill you in on Kenny. She is crazy over him. LOL I can't wait to get all the pics back!

I am probably coming to Atlanta, as a matter of fact I am sure of it, no way there coming that close and I am not coming! I want to see troy again!!

I know that MG are going to be in Chattanooga in June,not sure of the date though~for the Riverbend Festival.The company I work for sponsers the festival and we have pictures of MG all around the store! Talk about getting a daily fix!!
Let me know if you'll be in Atlanta and we might be able to meet~there's a few from KC's site that are talking about getting together before the concert and having a tailgate party or something!

On another note....RATS!!! MG was here in KY,Lexington no less, and I missed it. I am bummed :(. But they'll be playing here in Louisville on the 4th of July and I may just see if I can make that one. :D Unfortunately, Kenney Chesney is not coming here anytime soon, but he will be in Columbus OH in June I think. :)I love The Good Stuff...excellent song!

Thanks for the stories and pics, guys. This show would have been HEAVENLY for me - it had just about all of my fav country performers wrapped up into one - KC, MG and PV! I think they are all gorgeous and I'm sure I would have fainted dead away at some point! lol

I am soooo happy for KC - hope he comes back to NE before the tour is over. I am having trouble getting on to KC's website - anybody have a link or addy??

How was Phil's new song "American Child"? I haven't been able to hear it on my local radio station yet...
