Hi!

Check out the article in the St Pete Times. "Among specific genres, sales of country music improved slightly with the help of two soundtracks and Garth Brooks." ;)

And Garth did that since when.......? Imagine if he released Scarecrow earlier in the year? ;)

Well cool article. Also they should have mentioned that O Brother has sold 3.5 million in what a year and Garth has sold 2.3 million in what 7 weeks. I think Garth has helped country sales just a little more than O Brother!

The best-selling country album was the O Brother, Where Art Thou? soundtrack, which sold 3.5-million. That's more than a million above the closest competition, Scarecrow by Brooks.

hmm.. makes ya wonder.. ;)

Garth still is the best country singer :)
