As we all agree, this album is fantastic !! ... But where do you rate it in comparion to the others?

I've gotta put it as my number 4th favourite - GB, No Fences and Ropin The Wind being my first 3.

So what about everyone else?

Just interested to find out :)

Lol, I have SUCH a hard time deciding because I love all the albums. Like Sevens is maybe my faovorite, and I like The Chase a lot too, but I guess most people would say that those two are his worst. I just like all of them.

i think I need to listen to it more because his albums evolve on me. I went through a phase when "the Chase" was my favorite. Now I think the order is:

1- No fences
2- Fresh Hoses
3- In Pieces

So the order might get all jumbled around again after i have time t grow with this album.

That question is just too hard.... LOL

I can't say... Except that right now Scarecrow is my favorite - but maybe that's because it's new.... I think Sevens is also one of his best albums....

I rate it very highly - along with all his others.

I agree with Jude's reply. Although I think I still like The Chase a little above all the rest...It's a tough question.

Hmmm.... I can't give a rating right now..

Scarecrew is so new... and I need time to decide.

So far I like what I am hearing ;)

It's hard to say where it will end up over time, but so far #1 for me. I think it may just stay there too!

Based on listening to it ONE time it is #4 and will never get any higher as the three first albums are some of the best country albums ever made:)

I hate to say it, but after two weeks of listening to nothing but Scarecrow, I had to take it out of my cd player. I couldn't decide if I was getting sick of it, or if I was AFRAID of getting sick of it and having to shelve it for awhile..........

oh yeah, the question......

1. The Chase
2. Fresh Horses
3. In The Life Of Chris Gaines
4. In Pieces
5. Scarecrow
6. No Fences
7. Sevens
8. Ropin The Wind
9. Garth Brooks

Scarecrow is a great CD (as are all Garth music), however this is how I would rate his music.

1. Double Live
2. The Hits
3. Ropin the Wind - I love every song on that album.
4. Sevens - I love almost every song on that album.
5. Scarecrow
6. In the Life of Chris Gaines
7. Garth Brooks
8. No Fences
9. In Pieces
10. Fresh Horses
11. The Chase

Hopefully I never have to choose for real.

Hi all
In the spirit of the festive season my favorites at this moment are.
1. beyond the season.
2. Tha magic of christmas.

But ordinarily.
1. Garth Brooks ( favorite song 'The Dance')
2. No Fences ( favorite is 'Wolves')
3. Scarecrow ( favorite is ' When You Come Back to me Again')
3. The Chase ( favorite is 'We Shall be Free')
4. Ropin The Wind ( 'Shameless')
5. Sevens ('belleau Wood')
6. In Pieces. ( Callin Baton Rouge')
7. Fresh Horses. ( 'The Change')
8. Double live. ( ' It Was Your Song').
9. In The Life of Chris Gaines. ( ' Main Street').

ok so Chris gaines was at the bottom, I like this album, It's just that I don't really associate it with Garths other work because it is so different. I love just about any song Garth ever wrote so it was difficult to name favorites, but those are the standouts for one reason or another. :D Though this list is subject to change cos a lot of the songs on scarecrow that I was not to sure about are startin to grow on me... a lot...
:D Dossy :D
