Well certainly we think this is wonderful. But, for a Garth Brooks release Im sure people are going to say that the sales are not up to his usual standards. Double Live 1,000,000 first week. Sevens debuted at 897,000 first week I believe. Now for someone who has not been touring for the last two years this is a great first week sales but I can hear it now. The real test I think is how long he stays at the top position and when he goes gold and platnium.

it's wonderful to see Garth back to the top of the chart. I was hoping for higher numbers.

Does this also count for internet pre-sales???

And btw, Britney can eat crow...SCARECROW, to be exact!!!

I wouldn't look at this chart as the final outcome. I think that site only does the sales of certain stores, not all of them and I don't think it counts the internet pre-sales. I might be wrong though, I usually get my info from Soundscan directly and I have not seen their final results yet. They are the company that billboard uses.
