View Full Version : Jason, About Something You Told Us.

You said that the title of the album has nothing to do with The Wizard Of Oz. Why did you say that? Do you know something else that the rest of us don't? You also told me not to be surprised if the album cover looks similar to a previous album. What did you mean by that? There is no previous album by Garth that looks like that. Although it does kinda looks like Chris Ledoux's Cowboy album. And It also looks like John Cougar Mellencamps album by the same name. Is that what you meant?

Joe.. he wore the same clothes as the 1st "Garth Brooks" album ;)

But.. as you know.. Garth's known for "double meanings" there is more to the title.. I'm not telling the rest.. that's up to Garth :p

Garth said,

Brooks credits his longtime producer, Allen Reynolds, with pulling him through the tough times by continuously telling him to "think with your heart." The singer adopted the mantra, even when it came to naming the album, he explained. "So in trying to find a title for this album, I am saying that. I've got it pinned up on the house walls everywhere 'You gotta think with your heart,' and finally stupid me had to have three little girls tell 'em--when I said, 'Girls, what is the phrase for thinking for your heart, cause I gotta find a title for this,' and of course, the girls looked at me and said, 'Dad, the scarecrow thought with his heart,'" he said.

P.S. Thanks girls!
